2010 Race
Results |
C Superstock
There isn't a
whole lot to say
about this race.
I was on rain
tires and the
track was about
90% dry. The
primary focus
for us in this
race was to go
out for a couple
of laps and
conquer the head
shake problem
that we have had
at TWS for quite
some time, and
we did!
B Superstock
In this race, I
was having some
issues with the
front end,
causing the bike
to push outward
about mid
corner. It
proved even more
difficult when I
found myself
trying to run a
relatively fast
lap time
without tucking
the front. There
was a slight
battle between
Garet
Tomlinson and
Scott Buckley in
the beginning of
the race, but we
all
settled into our
positions all
the way to the
checkered flag.
I finished
in 12th place.

B Superstock:
This race isn't
too much to brag
about. The track
at this time of
the day was
about 60% dry
due to overnight
rain. I rode at
a comfortable
enough pace that
I would not
crash as well as
not getting
passed by
everyone. After
the race began,
I settled into
15th position
behind Carlos
Lescale, every
so often going
back and forth
changing
positions with
him but
ultimately
settling for
15th position at
the finish.

This was quite a
good race to
watch. As soon
as the race
began and the
whole group made
it's way all the
way to turn 6
and began to
split into
groups, I was
split into a
group with
Brandon Cleland
and Blake
Cochran. There
wasn't as much
"slice and dice"
as you would
think, but still
some pretty good
racing, and I
mean good racing
as in showing
multiple wheels
and pressuring
in every turn
towards one
another. Cochran
would pass me
coming out of
the final turn
onto the
banking, so I
had to really
work to make
sure that he
didn't outrun me
coming out of
that turn again,
and that I did,
settling me into
8th place out of
21 riders!
